Our Story
GPTouring was born from a deep-rooted love of speed and motorsport that began in the mid-1990s. Founder Graeme's first taste of live racing came at the Honda Indy 300 on the Gold Coast in 2001, where Jimmy Vasser took the win for Target Chip Ganassi Racing. That spark grew into an obsession.
In 2008, Graeme attended his first Formula 1 Grand Prix – the Australian GP – the same year Lewis Hamilton claimed his first World Championship. By 2009, he was planning his own international Grand Prix travels, attending the German GP at the Nürburgring (where Mark Webber took his maiden F1 win) and the British GP at Silverstone.
The adventure continued in 2010 with trips to the European GP in Valencia, the Turkish GP in Istanbul (where Webber and Vettel famously collided), and a whirlwind visit to Sepang for the Malaysian GP – where Graeme had the incredible fortune of meeting 8 drivers, including Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg.
In 2011, Graeme entered the travel industry, spending four years learning the trade while continuing to attend motorsport events around the globe. On 18 December 2015, he took the leap to combine his two greatest passions – motorsport and travel – and GPTouring was officially born.
